Despelta’s history goes back to the 90s, when Francisco initiated organic farming on his land. In 2004, with the help of Bárbara and Juan, the vision of creating value through cereal processing took shape, giving birth to Despelta, a pioneer in organic food. In 2012, the company was reconfigured with the arrival of Carlos Moreno as managing partner. Today, Paco and Carlos work hand in hand to continue this adventure and create wealth in the once depopulated region, while offering products of exceptional quality.

Francisco’s farm exclusively cultivates ancient grains, with wheat being carefully stone-ground into whole grains. This traditional method ensures the preservation of nutritional properties and provides an authentic flavor reminiscent of times past.
